controller. Yeah it's comprised of borrowed ideas, but has evolved and culminated into the creme de la creme of controllers and controller design imo; unless of course you've got wii-mote on the brain and no one can help you there. If there was an intergalactic league of gamers I believe they would choose the PS controllers for an overall good time. Look, one could argue all day about controller shapes and analog stick positions, but in the end the consumers will decide -- and they are. ...
I heard about this a couple of days ago from a friend of mine at IBM. Personally, I think this is a little too much. I mean, it's really not necessary other than the supposed, "additional bluetooth functions". I really don't see how an extra 20 gigs is going to be a huge selling factor when you can purchase much more internal or external memory at a fraction of what 'ol SNE will charge for this new machine. I'm totally content with my 20gig and 60gig systems and have no plans on...
I just hope that this continues, because a strong SNE is good for all gamers. It keeps the comp on their feet and keeps kick a$$ games coming down the chute for all of us. The affect is reciprocal and universal. Good job guys. Not to mention, MGS4, Heavenly Sword, Lair, KILLZONE II, HOME and LBP will keep these things flying off shelves for the foreseeable future.
Not surprising at all. Not even the least bit. I've said it for years: Never trust game reviews, and the only review worth the time and money is your own, hands - on review of whatever title in which you're interested. These "reviews" are so damn subjective and political it's a shame, but those are the wheels of commerce in action for you. Me...I'd rather skip the hype, fluff, & hooker influenced write-ups for real world on the game training. Of course, Paul Cerula would...
I think it's better known as market adaptation. SNE has set the tone with a fully committed Hi-def machine, and MS is following the lead as they should. Let's not spin it into anything else.
Hmmm....I think this wins the award for the most asenine and rhetorical question of the year so far. Of course it's a Trojan Horse and the enemies defenses have been badly breached. Duh!? =]
Kind of old, but very relevant still, and a great watch for those who want to learn more about this outstanding franchise. =]
in 360 news? Not good bedfellows, obviously at this point in the game (no pun intended). I've never experienced it myself since I haven't played it on the 360, but at a glance, this is just the kind of thing that deters some from embracing MS's game - playing creation. Just my take. =]
how the fickle winds of wii - winds blow. Does anymore really need to be said regarding this subject? Unfortunately, the wii will make the same type of run the GC did, which was a good run, but nothing compared to PS's and XBOX. Maybe Reggie and Miyamoto will wipe those stupid looking smiles from their mugs, get serious, and start again fresh with a better sounding console monicker and certainly more power and impressives for a nex-gen, High Definition age. Or they'll continue to pump eve...
be releasing wireless rumble headsets to counter the AX360 headphones and the enormous cost? That would rock.
...this article rattles Xbots to the core of their being. Just look at the responses. top gamr...looks like you have a new recruit in "Old School Gamer"...whatever the hell that means.lol -- more Kool-Aid drinkers for your cause. Great, great article Hastings, and a damn good find DC Rid3r. See you at the finish line Microsoft -- it's just too bad second place is the first LOSER, but that's familiar territory for you and your legion of "fumes". Lest we all forget: ...
I read your post today, finally. Been super busy here at work and I must say that you're probably 99% on target my man. I know that these companies will sell out to the highest market share, and that brand loyalty seems to be escaping from consoles these days faster than border patrol officers get sent to jail for enforcing the law. I concede that nothing is sacred anymore and if AC6 doesn't come to the PS3 like I thought it would then so be it. I haven't been this disappointed since my S...
by a bunch of dopes at MSNBC. Netflix? give me a break. I'm sure those tards are going to single-handedly prevent the civilzed world from entering into a high-definition age. I mean of course they would, who doesn't enjoy watching SD, blurry, crappy images anyway? Why should we evolve. We don't need no stinkin' Hi-Def.
"these two formats could be Betamaxed out". Right, and HDTV's are being turned in for walnut framed Zenith CRT's.
Good try MSNB...
seriously, is Kutaragi just going apesh1t and this is the way he's getting back at Stringer and Kazuo for their usurping of his lovechild? I mean c'mon, somebody please put some reigns on this man, pay him off, take him to a back alley or something, because this is simply unnacceptable at this point. Ok, back to my meditation techniques on a new PS3 flight combat title from Insomniac or Factor 5 -- wish it and they will come, right?. Ouuummmmn......Ouuummmmmn..... .Ouuummmmn.lol
but still doesn't quell my contempt of Namco/Bandai/Cellius for fuccing millions of Ace Combat fans on the PS brands right in the a$$. I hate 'em, hate 'em, hate 'em. Fuk you KK. I'll never buy another Namco product again.
C'mon Hammer. You're better than this man. I read through most of the lame posts and found this jewel which sticks out like a sore thumb from the rest of the stinkers. Everyone loves to rationalize what I call "phyrric" information concerning one's console choice. It's funny how you try to make fun of SNE guys man, when you bi-cepers have been screaming all along,
-- "we don't need no stinkin' HDMI, we don't need no stinking HDD upgrade, we're fine with DVI, a...
(in a thunderous voice) I will destroy you!!! lol
Hey man..Like I said dude, I'm still in Mizzou tonite still finishing up a project here -- I'll be back in the Lone Star State Wednesday night and it's on. Raingod Mesa for 6 hours straight, so you know you're not dealing with a punk, then we'll head anywhere you wanna go my man.lol Love the comp. dude. Can't wait to get back on Kal-EL. C ya soon!
to scoff at the effort that Evolution put forth with Motorstorm and I can tell you that these people don't love the challenge of high stakes racing or just plainly can't stand to see anything good on a Sony branded product. RFOM speaks for itself and was a very, very good launch title imo. But Motorstorm offers me the kind of replayability on a system which has (as embarrassing as it can be) found me daydreaming of new ways to attack different courses with different machines to increase my ...
I've been gone on business for about a week and come back to find out you've been hunted down by "___________" and all your bubbles look crappy now like mine. What a shame -- you must've been making too much sense lately and whaddya know; someone took umbrage with your reasoning! Pity.
Anywhoo -- I can't take the battles anymore. Just too exhaustive and they don't get us anywhere. If you own a 360 and love it -- fine. PS3 and love it -- fine. I don't care. I lo...
is a saying that goes something like: "If we don't learn from our past mistakes, we are doomed to repeat history." Why is Nintendo repeating history?
